They're professional actors. They know when they will be lifted, so, they know how to control their own weight. They know how to fake punches. They know how to fake getting hit. However, remember that there are some things that are uncontrollable, and often, most wrestlers are not told what to do, rather, only know who is going to win.
So, if you watch world wresting, remember that although it can be scripted, it certainly is not fake. It's genuine. They're professional wrestlers beating the life out of one another. So, don't try doing that in your own home.
