For some an eating disorder may build up from a response to a difficult life past experiences such as abuse, or social pressure that often arises around puberty. Others it may be from genetic factors that play some kind of activity, although this is prevalent with anorexia. It may be the result of depressive disorders, or the result of some kind of obsessive disorder. These eating disorders are likewise more common to find in cultures in which is considered favorable to be slim.
